Pauline Mae Scott, 80, of Litchfield, passed away Fri., Aug. 16, 2019 at 3:25 a.m. in HSHS St. Francis Hospital. She was born on July 13, 1939, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of William Herman & Viola Belle (Hughes) Stockamp. Pauline married the love of her life Alvin Lemar Scott on March 29, 1958 in Litchfield. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. Pauline worked as a waitress in her younger years at the old A&W, The Gardens, and the Annex Café. Pauline also waitressed at the Ariston Café for 26 years, where she retired. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Litchfield. In her younger years Pauline enjoyed bowling and in later years she loved playing bingo and doing puzzles, but her favorite thing to do was taking care of her family and her grandchildren. Pauline was an excellent cook and enjoyed making dinner for her family and friends. At Pauline’s house there was always room for one more around the dinner table. Pauline is survived by:

In addition to her husband, Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Loren & Robert Stockamp; 3 sisters, Marian Gerl; Florence Furlow; Martha Weatherford; & 1 grandson, Mitchell Viehweg.
Funeral services for Pauline will be held on Tues., Aug. 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Deacon Lee Johns will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held on Mon., Aug. 19, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Hearts United.
