Pauline Linda Ocelia Leake, 99, of Litchfield, passed away Mon., Mar. 4, 2019 at 9:43 a.m. in her home. She was born in Farmersville, IL, on Oct. 25, 1919, a daughter of Edward & Ida (Nobbe) Fuchs. Pauline was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield where she had been active in Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School. After graduating high school, she worked at Brown Shoe Company in Litchfield. She then worked for Braniff Airlines, Mid-Continent Airlines & TWA. Over the next several years, she worked as a receptionist for Dr. Yaeger, Dr. Floreth & Dr. Allen, all in Litchfield. Pauline loved traveling, going to the ocean and playing Pinochle. She married Paul Leake on Sept. 26, 1953 in Litchfield. They later divorced. She is survived by:

Funeral services will be held Sat., Mar. 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Fred Kraemer will officiate. Following the service, a dinner will be provided for the family & friends in Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. At 1:30 p.m. the funeral procession will line up at Plummer Funeral Home to proceed to Rovey Cemetery in Farmersville for burial. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or Onward In Faith Campaign (to benefit Zion Lutheran School) in Litchfield.
