Nathaniel Dean “Nate” Wilhelm, 27, of Staunton, formerly of Litchfield & Hillsboro, passed away on Sat., Sept 15, 2018. He was born on March 11, 1991 in Litchfield, a son of Richard D. Wilhelm, Jr. & Donna J. Durbin. Nate was employed as a shift manager at Pizza Hut. He also worked for Nancy’s Pizza in Litchfield for several years and worked with his dad on construction projects. Nate loved playing music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed skateboarding, family cookouts, and going to concerts. Nate married Kaitlyn Elizabeth Lewsader-Meyer, she survives. They later separated. Nate is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard & Minnie Wilhelm; 1 sister, Brittany Durbin.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., Sept. 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Jon Magnuson of Beacon Church will officiate. Visitation will be held Tues., Sept. 18, 2018 from 10 a.m. until service time. Cremation will follow the services. Private family burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville.
