Martin L. Leitschuh

Martin Lee “Marty” Leitschuh, 55, of Litchfield, passed away on Fri., Jan. 4, 2019 in his home.  He was born on May 13, 1963 in Taylorville, IL, the son of John Lee & Ramona June (Melzer) Leitschuh.  He graduated Litchfield High School with the Class of 1981.  Marty was employed as a tree trimmer with Woodmasters Tree Service in Litchfield.  He enjoyed bowling, fishing, deer hunting, gardening, & building wood stools and tables.  He married Lynda Sue Simmons on Aug. 30, 2014 in Litchfield.  She survives.  In addition to his wife he is survived by:

1 step-son,                     Larry (Amy) Jackson of Cleveland, TN

1 step-daughter,            Christina (Jimmy) White of Irving

Marty is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held on Sun. Jan. 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Rev. Randy White will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time.  The family suggests memorials to the Family c/o Lynda.
