Louise M Sacha

Louise M. Sacha, 95, of Litchfield passed away Saturday morning, May 12, 2018 at her home. She was born in Litchfield October 23, 1922. A daughter of Theodore “Pete” and Temperance H. (Morris) Crocks.  She married Francis Joseph Sacha on November 20, 1943 in Danville, IL.  Mr. Sacha passed away June 10, 1972. 

Mrs. Sacha was employed at Roller Derby Skate Corporation and H.E. Nursery until she retired.

Mrs. Sacha was faithful a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church. She was in charge of scheduling the acolytes for services and served on the funeral dinner committee. She enjoyed making pies and sharing them and all of her crusts were homemade. Additionally, she enjoyed working in her garden, tending to her flowers and doing yardwork.  Mrs. Sacha mowed lawns for her elderly neighbors and she really enjoyed having company, and watching Major League Baseball rooting for her beloved Chicago Cubs

Surviving are:  her daughter, Nancy K. Hart of Litchfield, A brother, Glen (Faye) Crocks of Dresden, TN., A sister, Margaret (Wayne) Angle of Raymond, IL

4 grandchildren:  Amy Jo (Brian) Blanton, Jason (Mandie) Hart, Angela (Omar) Hart-Abed and Trevor Hart. 3 great grandchildren; Jesse and Megan Blanton, Umar Abed and a great-great grandson, Wyatt Blanton. 

Preceding Mrs. Sacha in Death are; Her parents, her husband, Son- in – law Gerald Hart.

4 brothers, Frank, Dan, John and James Crocks; 5 sisters:  Sally Wood, Hazel Westbrook, Stella Kahl and twin infant sisters, Mary and Alice.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sacha will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home. Rev. James Tinzmann, pastor of St. Timothy United Methodist Church will officiate.  Burial will be in the Crabtree Cemetery in South Litchfield Township.  Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. The family suggests memorials to the Crabtree Cemetery Assn.
