Kay A. (Heisman) Jones

Kay Arlene Jones, 75, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 9:35 a.m. at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones.  Born June 25, 1944 near Walshville, a daughter of Charles Otto and Viola B. (Richardson) Heisman.

Kay was employed for several years at Roller Derby Skate Corp., Echlin – Brake Parts Corp., and was the manager of the Litchfield Bowl. Kay’s greatest joys in life were her husband, her children and taking care of and helping raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed Camping, Bowling, going to horse shows, going to dinner with her lady friends group,  hosting family dinners and special family events. Kay married Harold David Jones on November 30, 1968 at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Hillsboro.  His children and grandchildren credit him with giving loving care and attention to Kay, up to and during her illness and made every effort to keep her at home.   In addition to her husband additional survivors include;

Son; Carl (Jennie) Jones of Butler, IL

2 daughters; Starr (Gary) Cranford and Vickie (Tony) Throne both of Litchfield, IL

2 brothers; Robert (Linda) Heisman of Cuba, MO and Larry (Juanita) Heisman of Butler, IL                                        

1 sister; Patty A. Dooley of Litchfield, IL 

7 grandchildren; Kevin (Joleen) Jones, Josh (fiancée Jami Wilson) Jones, Jennifer (fiancé Dustin Goodwin) Jones, Brandi (Ross, III) Wilson, Kelsey (Levi) Kroll, Alexis Throne and Madison Throne. A step granddaughter; Rayna Trimble

7 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

Kay is preceded in death by; her parents, Infant brother Carl Heisman, and sister Beverley Bergman.

Private family services will be held.   There will be no visitation.  The family suggests memorials to the Litchfield Food Pantry of to the Coats for Kids campaign.
