Harry James “Jim” Wolfe, 68, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Mon., May 14, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. He was born on Mar. 11, 1950 in Litchfield, IL, a son of Harry Adolph & Martha Louise (Stockamp) Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was a member of VFW Post #6628 in Panama. Jim enjoyed fishing, following his grandchildren in sports and watching Cubs baseball. He worked as a construction worker out of Laborer’s Local #338 in Wood River, IL.

4 grandchildren, Tryston Wolfe, Hailey Wolfe, Hunter Wolfe & Hadley Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry A. Wolfe; step-father, Russell D. Weatherford; 1 brother, William C. Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held Sat., May 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Nathan Diveley, of South Side Church in Litchfield, will officiate. Visitation will be held Saturday from 4 – 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
Cremation will follow the service. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Litchfield Veterans’ Memorial Garden Fund.
