Ida Mae Warren, 94, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Mon., Sept. 24, 2018 at 9:30 p.m. in HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born on May 23, 1924 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of William Preston & Eula Elizabeth (Laurent) Sharp. She graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1942. She worked at Hillsboro Dress Factory and later for Meier Decorating as a sales clerk in Litchfield for 40 years. Ida was a member of Union Avenue Christian Church in Litchfield. She enjoyed reading, her pets, and especially enjoyed being with her family. She married Donald F. Warren. They later divorced. She is survived by:

1 nephew, William Robert Sharp, all of Litchfield

She was preceded in death by her parents; special friend & companion, James Slightom; a great-nephew, James Dressen.
Funeral services will be held Fri., Sept. 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Skyler Elmer of The Christian Church of Litchfield, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until service time. The family suggests memorials to Adopt-A-Pet Shelter in Benld or PAWS Care of Montgomery County.
