Harry and Florence Hopper

Family and friends are invited to a committal services of the interment of ashes ceremony for Harry and Florence (Mazenko) Hopper on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield.

Florence and Harry grew up in Litchfield and Staunton, respectively. In recent years they enjoyed their residence at St. George Village, Roswell, GA.

Florence and Harry were beacons of light and love for one another and for everyone they encountered throughout their 67 years of marriage. Their careers and a love for travel gave them an opportunity to experience the four corners of the globe. Gardening, birding, and learning were hobbies and their faith in God was a constant source of strength and inspiration.

Celebrations of Life for Florence and Harry were conducted at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell. Florence passed away September 22, 2018 at age 91, and Harry passed away July 14, 2019 at age 89.   They leave a son, Thomas and are preceded in death by a son Harry E. Hopper, Jr.

The Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family with local arrangements.
