Fidelis Mary Biebel

Fidelis Biebel, 88, of Litchfield passed away on Wed., July 4, 2018 at 7:43 a.m. in HSHS St. Francis Hospital.  She was born on Oct. 6, 1929 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of William & Anna (Buscher) Heise.  She graduated high school and worked at St. Francis Hospital for 6 years.  She also worked as a Bookkeeper & Secretary for Dr. C.H. Sihler for 22 years.  Fidelis previously worked for Capital Ritz & Lfd. Skyview Drive-in as well.  Fidelis was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Anne’s DCCW.  She enjoyed reading.  Fidelis married Nicholas Biebel on Mar. 18, 1971 in St. Meinrad, IN., he survives.  She is also survived by:

3 brothers,              James (Midge) Heise of Lebanon, IL                                                        

                               C. David (Cathy) Heise of Bluffton, SC

                              Thomas (Carol) Heise of Genesco, IL

1 sister,                  Mary Jo Heise of Springfield, IL

2 sisters-in law,       Anna Heise of Albuquerque, NM
                              Ann Elzy of Lovington, IL

Fidelis is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, William Heise, John Heise, George Heise and Phillip Heise. 3 sisters, Agnes Heise, Margaret Heise and Theresa Cummings

No special memorial Mass will be held.   Memorial Masses will be celebrated according to the time and schedule of the church and can be found in the weekly bulletin of Holy Family Church.

Following the Saturday evening Mass of July 14, 2018 at Holy Family, a reception for family and friends will follow in the church fellowship hall at Holy Family Church, (not the Parish Center). Mrs. Biebel donated her body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.  Burial will be at a later date in St’s. Peter & Paul Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.  The family suggests memorials to be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
