Calvin Arthur Weber, 92 of Litchfield, died Wed., Nov. 15, 2017 at 6:04 p.m. in Heritage Health Therapy & Senior Care in Gillespie. He was born on June 22, 1925 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Charles and Jessie (Meikle) Weber. Calvin was an accountant with B.F. Goodrich. He was a Veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield. Calvin’s passion was helping those in need. He volunteered his time serving the communities he lived in, including Henry, Il, Solon, OH, Englewood, Fl and Litchfield. The many charities/services he devoted himself to included Meals on Wheels, providing transportation to seniors requiring medical care, teaching prisoners in correctional institutions to read, fund raising for United Cerebral Palsy, as well as volunteering his time and energy to the Litchfield Hearts United and the Litchfield Food Pantry. Calvin was a proud recipient of the prestigious Veiled Non-Profit award for his community service in Litchfield in 2004. He married Alice Mae Weber on May 13, 1950, in Cleveland, OH. She preceded him in death on Nov. 18, 2014. He is survived by:

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; his parents; and 1 son, Terry Weber.
The family suggests memorials to be made to the Litchfield Food Pantry, 102 S Montgomery Avenue,
Litchfield, IL 62056.
