Alfred Hugo Wilson, 89, of Hillsboro, passed away Wed., May 1, 2019 at 6:43 a.m. in Hillsboro Rehab & Health Care Center. He was born on Jan. 12, 1930 at home in Montgomery County, IL, a son of William Alfred & Eliza (Kahl) Wilson. He was a lifelong farmer. Alfred married Barbara Long on Nov. 2, 1957 in St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield. She preceded him in death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, golfing and was a member of Shoal Creek Fox Hunters Association. He is survived by:

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 7 brothers, Henry, Walter, Arthur, Roy, Charles, Robert & Infant Edwin Wilson; 3 sisters, Alice Prose; Dorothy Billiter & Hazel Davis.
Funeral services will be held Sat., May 4, 2019 at 12 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Mr. Wilson’s nephew, Lee Davis of Litchfield, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Montgomery County Cancer Association.
