Kenneth A. Ferris, 66, of Taylor Springs, formerly of Litchfield, died Tues., Jan. 24, 2012 at 8:06 p.m. in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on Mar. 15, 1945 in Carlinville, IL, a son of Louis Wilbur & Gwendolyn June (Manetz) Ferris. He worked as a machinist for Fisher Stoves in Eugene, OR in earlier years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting & fishing. He is survived by:
2 brothers, Louis (Ruth Ann) Ferris of Springfield
Richard (Edith) Ferris of Zephyrhills, FL
1 aunt & uncle;
Several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Thomas E. Ferris.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held Sat., Jan. 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Pastor Bradley M. Ferris of First Christian Church of Newburgh, IN, will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
