M. Frances Stanbery

M. Frances Stanbery, 82, of Litchfield, died Fri., Aug. 6, 2010 at 7:50 p.m. in St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. She was born on Nov. 3, 1927 in Crivitz, WI, the only child of William & R. Murdith (Baker) Stoneburner. She was a machine operator at Crane Packing Co. in Vandalia, IL, making gaskets for heavy machinery. She married Leroy Stanbery on Feb. 25, 1955 in Ramsey, IL He preceded her in death in 2008. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, needlework, painting pictures, fishing & quilting. She is survived by:

1 daughter, Linda (John) Thull of Litchfield
8 grandchildren, Chris, Jim, & Nick Thull, Kellie Connours, Michelle Jurasko, Lisa Young, Gary Walsh & Shannon Riggs
17 great-grandchildren
1 great-great grandchild

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Stanbery, & 1 son, Gary Walsh.

Funeral Information

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Ramsey Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
