Donna Lee Davis, 76, of Litchfield, died Thurs., Jan. 12, 2012 at 11:44 a.m. in St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born on Nov. 18, 1935 in Litchfield, a daughter of Wilbur & Frances Lucille (Weir) Rundle. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1953. She married Douglas J. Davis and they later divorced. She was a member of Southside Church in Litchfield. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, her cats & reading her bible. She worked for several years as a CNA at several area nursing homes and also provided in-home private care. She is survived by:

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Tommy & Marvin Rundle; Stanley Thompson; 1 sister, Geraldine Rentz.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Sun., Jan. 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Brother Ed Diveley, pastor of Southside Church in Litchfield, will officiate. Burial will be in Crabtree Cemetery in rural Litchfield. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
