Pamela Sue Barrero, 50, of Litchfield, died Fri., Oct. 28, 2011 at 4:13 a.m. in
St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born on March 27, 1961 in Litchfield, a daughter of Richard B. & Delores M. (Horn) Adams. She graduated from Litchfield High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Litchfield. Mrs. Barrero was employed by Litchfield Community Unit School District 12 as a school bus monitor. She had also managed Memorial Pool for several seasons & coached Litchfield Soccer. In her leisure time, she enjoyed working in her garden with flowers, hiking & camping. She married Stephen K. Barrero on
June 12, 1988 in Ormond Beach, FL. He survives. Also surviving are:

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Rose Adams Pollard & Eva Reener.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Wed., Nov. 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Donald “Skip” Cole, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Coffeen, will officiate. Burial will be in Crabtree Cemetery in rural Litchfield. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.
