Timothy Shawn Rowland, 47, of Litchfield, died Mon., Nov. 28, 2011 at 9:25 p.m. in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on Aug. 19, 1964 in Litchfield, a son of James C. “Neil” & Nancy Lea (Odem) Rowland. He was employed as a forklift operator at Echlin Manufacturing in Litchfield. He then went on to the Construction Industry and worked for Carpenter’s Local #725 in Litchfield & #745 in Hawaii. He is survived by:

His daughter, Jessica Rowland Sneed;
2 grandchildren, Tyler Sneed & Cheyenne Cobix, ALL of Litchfield
His mother, Nancy L. Niehaus of Mt. Olive
3 brothers, C.W. “Tody” (Tam) Niehaus;
Jerry (Tammy) Niehaus;
James R. Rowland; ALL of Litchfield
1 sister, Lori DeWitt of Hillsboro
Several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Melbourne "Tyke" & Glenna Odem; Paternal grandparents, James Leroy & Irene Rowland; his stepfather, Marvin W. Niehaus.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
