Helen C. Knetzer

August 26, 1917 - October 28, 2011

Helen Catherine “Katie” Knetzer, 94, of Raymond, surrounded by her loved ones, was called to her heavenly home on Fri., Oct. 28, 2011 at 3:35 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro. She was born on Aug. 26, 1917, a daughter of John D. & Winnie B. (McElfresh) Allen. She graduated from Waggoner High School. She was a homemaker & enjoyed sewing, knitting, & gardening. She loved being with all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. She married Louis Edward Knetzer on May 19, 1941 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1997. She is survived by:

1 sister, Frances McNail of San Gabriel, CA
5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sons, Edward Allen “Butch” Knetzer & 1 in infancy; 1 daughter, Mary Catherine Bockewitz; 1 brother, Robert Allen.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Thurs., Nov. 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Scott Busacker, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvel, will officiate. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in rural Raymond. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home.
